Soviet rovers

UPD : on Habré there is an epic work on this subject (thx Sterpa ) I
came across an interesting article about the Soviet Mars rovers, the first of which was supposed to crawl on the red planet back in 1971 - but the connection with the marshed module on which the Mars rover was was lost shortly after landing.
In fact, they were impressed by the cool ideas of moving around other people's spaces - especially the “caterpillar principle” with the gradual pulling up of parts of the device.
